Visit Liberia, Fish Town.
In september 2010 I visit my brother Prince Dennis in Liberia, Fish Town. Together whit his nephew he picket me up at the airport nearly at Monrovia. From Monrovia it was 2 days of traveling to River Gee County before we arrived in Fish town. The roads are realy bad, through the rain there was a lot of mud. We travelled whit a taxi, they have a system where you have to register your location and when there are enough travelers you can go. The first day we stopped in Ganta, it is a big town at the border whit Guinea. We sleep at Prince sisters house. Next day we travelled to Fish town, the roads from Ganta to River Gee and many other county`s are unpaved roads. It takes us 15 hours to drive over a distance of 350km. I spend 3 days in Fish town. Early in the morning we visit the village eldest, they recieved us at the traditional way whit the koala ceremony !. Together we eat a part of the koala nut and they ask me for the reason of my visit. After this they accept my explanation and give me their hospitality. We also visit the counsil house of River Gee county where we deposit some documents of the Turning point of Positieve Actions. The next day we visit the plantation together whit Nutugba and Ref. Jesaja. The rice was good but not yet ready to harvest. They let me see the part of the forrest that belongs to the family of Nutugba, an area over more than 46 hectare. It left a big impression on me. They want to build here a house and missionary post. Here they want to organize al the activities of the Turning point of Positieve Actions. The last day, (sunday) we visit a serve in Tegelekon. In this small village nearly to Fish town, there are 4 Churces, ones a month they organized together a serve. They were very kindly and it was great to be there whit those believers. I find many brothers and sisters in Christ. They accepted me if I was one of them.
It was good to visit the area and see whit my own eyes the situation. The roads are worse, there is no hygiene, no clear wather and sanitair.
